We're finally walking!

Miss Aria took her first steps on Tuesday and is now is walking all over! She gave mommy and daddy the best Persian New Year gift ever. Today, she celebrated Persian New Year with family and was given a special gift from her Aunt Winnie--her daddy's rain boots from when he was a baby...they were passed down from daddy to Cousin Clara and now Miss Aria.

Baby Girl 2 is kicking in mommy's belly and is almost 6 months old in mommy's belly! We can't wait to meet our second little girl...16 weeks to go!!!

We're having another baby!! It's a girl!!!

We are excited to announce that we are having another baby! This morning we went to the doctor and our little baby showed us that she is definitely a little girl! We are ecstatic that Aria will have a sister and can't wait to meet the new addition to the Giti Family! Baby Giti #2 is due July 20th 2010.

I'm 1 years old!

Mommy and daddy threw me a really fun party this weekend! It was so fun because my friends and family came over to my house and we played so much! I am so lucky to have so many amazing friends and an incredible family that love me and spoil me so me. I am so happy and feel so lucky to be so loved and to have so many people to love too!!!

Arias First Christmas

Aria had a wonderful first Christmas. She was showered with so many gifts for Christmas from all her loved ones. She spent Christmas eve at home with family and then spent Christmas day at her Uncle Amir and Aunt Winnie's home. Her room suddenly went from several toys and books to a room full of exciting books, toys, and clothes. Our little girl is so blessed to be so loved!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Aria had an amazing first Halloween. Her Halloween excitement started on Friday when she dressed up as Tinkerbell and went to the library for reading and music time, then went to the park for a playdate with her friends, and then a visit to the pumpkin patch with her cousin Aliyah. Aria picked out her very own mini pumpkin and pet some goats, a calf, and a llama! On Saturday, Aria went to the Kowalskis for her bestfriend Kaison's Costume party, and then trick or treating at the Riviera Village with cousin Aliyah (Gabriela from Hign School Musical), her Aunt and Uncle Sierra Dawn & Kylen (AKA Lady Gaga & Perez Hilton), Mommy (Wonder Woman), and daddy and family and friends.

Aria had a wonderful first Halloween and is so thankful for all her wonderful family and friends!!

Next year, she is going to convince her daddy to dress up too!!!

Miss Aria is 8 months old!

How time flies....

Miss Aria is now 8 months, 23 pounds, wears size 12-18 months and is the proud owner of 4 teeth (although she still refuses to show off those 2 top two teeth for us to get a photo). She loves her solids and looks forward to her 3 meals. She is a great eater that's for sure! Her favorite snacks are fresh fruit and Iranian lavash bread (feels good on the teeth =)


Mommy and Aria had a beautiful summer with reading time, swim class, playgroups, stroller strides, and lots of piano playing and singing...Miss Aria was kept very busy! It is a tough transition for mommy to be back in school although it's only part-time this year.

Aria also went on her first airplane flight! She even got a certificate from Southwest! She did so well! She had a wonderful time with her Aunt Mellissa and all her family in Alabama. She misses them a lot!!

The past few days, Aria has been a trooper with a fever and her first cold! Mommy and daddy are taking great care of her and she'll be back to perfect health in no time.

A busy month!

The Giti household has been busy this past month! We've had the pleasure of having many family members come to visit and stay with us. Aria has had a blast as she loves a loud and busy home...when it's quiet she gets grumpy!

Aria is the proud owner of two bottom teeth and two top teeth. She is also eating solids 3 times a day. Until things get to busy, mommy has been making Aria's food for her...all it takes is some steaming and food processing. Aria also just met her new pediatrician Dr. Ghafouri and loved her! The stats on Miss Aria: 29 inches and 22 pounds, clothes size: 12-18 months!!

Aria also had some excitement this past weekend: Her Uncle Steve took her into the ocean for the first time! She is definitely a water baby and we think she may be following her Cousin Clara's footsteps and become a surfer girl! Also, Aria went to her first wedding--she had so much fun at Cousin Paris' wedding!

So much excitement for our little one.
