Happy Fall and Halloween!!!

With Mommy's busy school and work schedule (mommy is busy writing her doctoral dissertation and interning at Kaiser Permanente's Dep. of Psychiatry) and daddy's very busy work schedule (Daddy has been working very hard and traveling all over the country the past couple of months), we have had a very busy household! We have had a wonderful fall with our beautiful Giti girls and enjoying eachother so much!

Miss Aria is growing into a young lady--talking away in both Farsi and English...everyday she surprises us with her vocabulary and communication skills! Miss Bella is growing so fast (so fast that she outgrew the halloween costume her mom bought her and ended up wearing the one that Aria wore last year at 10 months old).

We are blessed for our wonderful family for supporting us through all our endeavors. (Major thank you to Laya Joon...the best mother and mother-in-law in the world) and to beautiful moms (South Baby Mommy angels and Cool Coastal Mommies) for all the CKK, Aunty SD and TGS for supporting mommy so much and keeping Bella's belly full).

We are so blessed for all the love of our family and friends!!!!

Best Friends

Bella and Aria are quickly becoming best friends. We were worried that Miss Aria would be jealous of the new baby, but she has surprised us. Aria absolutely loves her sister and is so sweet and kind to her. She covers Bella in kisses and hugs and helps mommy take care of Bella. When mommy needs a diaper or a burp cloth for Bella, Aria runs to the rescue. Bella also recognizes Aria and coos and smiles when her sister covers her in kisses. We are so excited for our girls to grow together and be eachothers best friends forever.

Bella update: She just had her 2 month appointment and she has literally doubled in size

We are having fun with our girls and our busy lives. Between long work hours for Daddy and school and internship for mommy, we are super busy...but we are having fun and trying to enjoy every single second with our munchkins.

5 week update

We have enjoyed our first month with beautiful Bella. She is growing quickly, eating a lot, and enjoying the company of her big sister Aria...they are already becoming the best of friends! We were warned that Aria would be jealous, but instead she is so kind and sweet to her sister. She helps her mommy by bringing Bella's diapers, blankets, pacifiers and bottles.

We are also starting potty training with Aria...she now tells us when she "poopoos" and she brings her training toilet into the living room when she has to peepee...but we still do not have an actual peepee or poopoo in her toilet...in time =)

We are adjusting well to having 2 little girls...although we are very sleep deprived and busy...but we are loving it!

Bella Ali Giti is Here!

On July 8th at 6:02 pm Bella made her debut into this world. Mommy was in labor for a little over 3 hours and Bella was in a hurry to come out and meet all her family and friends. Miss Bella weighed in at 7 lbs 12 ounces and 20 inches...she seems to have medium brown hair, blue eyes, light skin and very long fingers and toes. We look forward to having her meet all our beloved friends and family.

Home Stretch until Bella makes her debut

Well, we saw the doctor on Friday and she told us to have our bags packed and be ready to go to the hospital any day. Our girl is ready to go and come out...now we just have to wait for her to decide she is ready and come out! Mommy is feeling a lot of pressure and pain and looks forward to Bella coming out in the world. Aria is very proud of her sister--she points out her mommy's belly to everyone and yells out, "Bella!!!."

We can't wait to meet our little girl!

Family Photos

Before Bella makes her debut, we decided to take some family photos. We had a blast last week in our super casual photo session at our house, then on the beach with our photographer Nathan Nowack. It was really fun--although Miss Aria had skipped both her naps that day so she was super grumpy...in our eyes our angel chose to be dramatic in her photos. Enjoy!

Bella's Baby Shower!

On Sunday, friends through miss Bella a baby shower! We had so much fun eating, drinking, dancing, playing and celebrating our little girl who will be making her debut in a month! We are now at 36 weeks so one more month (or less) to go!
